STUDENT SPOTLIGHT
When Bobby Sensenbach first joined the Native American Student
Association (NASA)— an Oregon State club that gives Native American
students opportunities to participate in traditional activities — he knew
instantly that he’d found his community.
“I first felt a sense of belonging on campus when I developed relationships
at the Native American Longhouse Eena Haws — discovering a home away
from home… I have many close friends who I consider an extended family.
We support each other when times are tough, and they have made me a
stronger and more confident person.”
Bobby has taken his experiences with NASA and Eena Haws into the
professional world as well, using his skills and talents developed at
Oregon State to continue serving native communities by creating better
educational opportunities for Native youth.
