Through OSU’s Louis Stokes Alliance for
Minority Participation, I found a strong
group of lifelong friends, a community
center that provided a safe space for me
and other Black, Indigenous and people of
color in STEM to hang out and an advisor
who has continuously provided me with
unwavering support from the beginning of
my degree to the very last day.
