For first-year students in the College of Business, you’ll find the inspiration
for your next big idea, flex your creative muscles and test drive what it’s like
to launch a business. With 24/7 access to the DAMLab makerspace, you
can get hands-on experience with design and prototyping tools and turn
business ideas into reality.
You’ll network with industry professionals, business alumni and
entrepreneurs and learn how business graduates work out in the real world.
In addition, the college’s Career Success Center hosts seminars and one-
on-one consultations on résumé writing, interviewing strategies, securing
internships and more to help you stand out to potential employers.
LEARN BEYOND THE CLASSROOM.
Oregon State offers a resource-rich environment that encourages you to
take advantage of opportunities like the Honors College and study abroad
programs. The College of Business sponsors study abroad, global internships
and international exchange programs. Students in other business-related
majors can choose from a variety of university-sponsored international
study programs.

Blueprint — an award-winning education-to-career curriculum model in the
College of Business — embeds career advising, financial literacy, student-
employer interaction and work-based learning into the student experience.
The 12-course series emphasizes transferable skills in adaptability,
teamwork and communication.

DEAN’S ACADEMY.
The Dean’s Academy option is an academic forum for high-achieving
students in business. Smaller class sizes and access to exclusive leadership
